During the XX century, the cult Our Lady of Sorrow has become unusually impressive, thanks to the Marian fervour of the priests followed one another, as well confraternity.Every day ,and in particular on Fridays, during Lent time and the Holy week, and on 15 September, which is the liturgical feast of Our Lady, the church is the goal of pilgrimages.
Crowds of believers, coming also from the neighbouring districts, on foot or barefooted,get to the holy place to worship the Blessed Lady.
All the manifestation in Our Lady’ s honour culminate in the tradiional proccesion of Good Friday, organized by the Confraternity.
Afther the service of Our Lord’s Passion, officiated in the Monther Church, the Holy Simulacrum with Dead Christ, is taken trough the town streets, accompanied by religious and civil authorities, by the Confraternities and crowds of believers.
